Introducing the sleeker, no-frills TEMPLE Decentralized Application (DAPP). It has all the basic functionality of the original Temple website but presented in a more streamlined fashion

TEMPLE DAPP Main Page

This is the main page of the Temple DAPP. You will perform any and all interactions with the DAPP from here. First, let us introduce all the elements on the page.

Step Description
1 Metamask Icon
Don't have a metamask wallet? follow the steps here to get one.
2 Main Interaction Panel
3 Navigation Panel
4 Key Metrics
5 Historical Price Chart
6 Temple Growth Indicator (Glows when Temple price is above threshold price)

Let's now go through each interaction, starting with...

How To Buy

The page is pretty and all but there’s no point just looking at it. You are here to buy some $TEMPLE!

Click on the “Buy” button on the navigation panel to begin. Then follow these steps:

Step Description
1 On the main page, look for the Metamask icon on the top right of the page. Click it and follow the prompts to connect your wallet. Make sure you have some ETH to pay the gas fees
Don't know what gas fees are? Have a read here
2 Ensure you have $FRAX in your wallet in order to sacrifice (swap) for $TEMPLE.
3 Enter the amount of $FRAX you want to sacrifice.
4 You will see the corresponding number of $TEMPLE you will receive for your $FRAX.
5 Slippage is the maximum % of price movement you are willing to accept for your transaction. It is defaulted to 1% but you may change it if you wish.
Don't know what slippage is? Get the scoop here
6 Once you are happy with your position, click here to exchange your $FRAX for $TEMPLE. Then follow the prompts on your metamask. If this is your first time performing this action, you will need to click on the button twice (once to approve the FRAX spend, and another to actually perform the exchange).

How to Stake

Now that you've got yourself a bag of $TEMPLE - it’s time to stake and chill. Staked balances are auto-compounded on a daily basis.

Click on the “Stake” button to proceed

Step Description
1 Your purchased $TEMPLE amount will appear here. Please wait until your metamask transaction is confirmed (this can take a few minutes depending on current ETH network traffic).
2 Once you have $TEMPLE in your wallet, enter the number $TEMPLE you would like to stake.

Note that your staked $TEMPLE will be converted into $OGTEMPLE at a ratio that is specified under key metrics. e.g if you staked 10,000 $TEMPLE and the ratio at the time was 2.0, then you will receive 10,000 / 2.0 = 5000 $OGTEMPLE and works in reverse when unstaking.
3 This shows you the current calculated APY for your staked $TEMPLE.
4 Once you are happy with your position, click here to stake your $TEMPLE. Then follow the prompts on your metamask. If this is your first time performing this action, you will need to perform two actions: click once to approve the $TEMPLE spend, and another to execute staking..

How to Unstake

At some point in the future you may want to retrieve your staked $TEMPLE. To do this you will need to perform a “Burn” of your $OGTEMPLE and join the Exit Queue. The length is dependent on how many other people are trying to unstake their tokens ahead of you. Once you have completed your wait time in the queue, the unstaking process will begin. The time taken for the unstaking process may also vary based on the protocol traffic.

Exit Queue confusing you? Find out how it works here

Click the “Unstake” button to proceed

Step Description
1 Your $OGTEMPLE balance will appear here.
2 Enter the number of $OGTEMPLE you would like to unstake.
3 The total number of $TEMPLE you would receive from unstaking will appear here. This includes any additional $TEMPLE rewards you received from staking.

Note that your staked $OGTEMPLE will be converted into $TEMPLE at a ratio that is specified on the main page. e.g if you had 5000 $OGTEMPLE staked and the ratio at the time was 2.0, then you will receive 5,000 * 2.0 = 10,000 $TEMPLE and works in reverse when staking.
4 This will display the total number of days you will have to wait before your $OGTEMPLE can be processed.
5 This displays the processing time for unstaking your tokens. This is in ADDITION to the queue length.
6 If the total rewards, queue length and processing time is acceptable to you, click here to begin the process. Then follow the prompts on your metamask. If this is your first time performing this action, you may need to perform two actions: click once to approve the $OGTEMPLE spend, and another to burn the $OGTEMPLE and join the exit queue.

How to Withdraw

While waiting for your tokens to be Unstaked, head over to the “Withdraw” section to view your progress and perform your next actions

Click the “Withdraw” button to proceed

Step Description
1 This progress bar fills up as you progress through the Exit queue. More and more of your $TEMPLE will become available to claim as they vest linearly over the period of the exit queue.
2 As your $TEMPLE tokens vests and is released over time, your total claimable tokens can be seen here.
3 This displays the total number of $TEMPLE still in the queue and yet to be processed.
4 This displays the actual date and time when ALL of your $TEMPLE will be processed through the exit queue and states when it will be ready for claiming.
5 If you change your mind at any time and would like to Restake your $TEMPLE, you can click on this button and follow the prompts on metamask. Bear in mind that this will only restake $TEMPLE that has not yet been processed. Any $TEMPLE that has already been processed will need to be claimed and restaked through the standard process.
6 As your $TEMPLE becomes available over the period of the queue length, you may claim them by clicking this button. It is advisable to wait until ALL your $TEMPLE becomes available before claiming so that you don’t pay multiple ETH gas fees.

How to Sell

The steps for selling $TEMPLE is the reverse of buying $TEMPLE. Remember that you cannot sell $OGTEMPLE as this is staked $TEMPLE. You will first need to follow the previous steps of unstaking the $OGTEMPLE and withdrawing in order to have $TEMPLE tokens that you can sell.

Click the “Sell” button to proceed

Step Description
1 Check that you have some $TEMPLE to sell for $FRAX.
2 Enter the amount of $TEMPLE you want to sell here.
3 You will see the corresponding amount of $FRAX you will receive for your $TEMPLE.
4 Slippage is the maximum % of price movement you are willing to accept for your transaction. It is defaulted to 1% but you may change it if you wish.
5 Once you are happy with your position, Click here to sell your $TEMPLE for $FRAX. Then follow the prompts on your metamask. If this is your first time performing this action, you will need to perform two actions: click once to approve the TEMPLE spend, and another to execute the sale.

Key Metrics

Lower down on the page, you will see four key metrics which can help you understand the overall health of the protocol and the health of your own personal portfolio.

Step Description
1 The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is the % rewards you are expected to receive per year if you stake your $TEMPLE. It takes into account the daily compounding rewards.
2 The Intrinsic Value (IV) is the floor price of each $TEMPLE token. The price of $TEMPLE will never go below this number, it is either static or increasing.
3 The Ratio is the “exchange rate” used to convert between $TEMPLE and $OGTEMPLE. The formula is:
Number of $OGTEMPLE = Number of $TEMPLE / Ratio.
4 The Treasury shows the USD dollar amount that the protocol currently has in its treasury.

Historical Price Chart

At the bottom of the page is a dynamic chart tracking the price of $TEMPLE

Step Description
1 This is the live and current price of $Temple.
2 This denotes the % difference of the current price versus the historical price.
3 The chart can be toggled to show the historical price for the past 24 hours, past 1 week, past 1 month, past 6 months or past 1 year.
4 The graph shows the historical price movements. The solid line indicates the actual price of $TEMPLE on the AMM. The dotted line represents the threshold price set by the protocol. Depending on where the actual price is relative to the threshold, the AMM would be in one of three modes – Temple Growth, Temple Devotion, or Standard.
